Please read the Following Terms and Conditions Regarding the Installation of Any Tree.
- All services must be paid in full prior to scheduling.
- Machine Installation requires at a minimum: 8 foot or 2.5 metre access with a clear flat path to installation spot(s).
- Machine installation may be changed to HAND installation if it turns out there is not adequate room for a machine installation. (Max size 50mm) This must be arranged PRIOR to scheduling as hand installations take much longer than machine installations. Hand installations vary in pricing depending on tree size. Please contact us for a hand install quote.
- We do not move plants into a previously dug hole. This would be considered an installation and installation fees will apply.
- Customers MUST have all underground utilities located prior to installation. Failure to have underground utilities located in a timely manner may result in delays/rescheduling of your installation. We cannot plant within 5 feet of any utility lines.
- The planting locations of the trees must be clearly marked with the pin flags provided to you by Countryside before our installers arrive to do your installation.
- Countryside is not liable for any damages incurred on a customer’s property during the hand/machine installation. This includes but is not limited to damage to grass/sod, driveway, sidewalk/pathway/patios, edging, mulch, irrigation or any unmarked line or underground utility.
- If delivery and installation services are purchased and upon arriving at site, installation cannot be completed, there will be no refund for services charged. It is up to customer in ensure we have clear access for machinery and no conflicting lines prior to installers arriving on site. It you are unsure please send us photos or schedule an on site consultation (fee applies) prior to confirming installation date. This is very important and any question about access can really mess up a well planned day for our installation crews. It is also very aggravating for you, our customers, who have been waiting patiently for trees to be planted.
- Upon site inspection, Countryside reserves the right to refuse service.
- If our installation crews arrive at your planting site and are unable to complete the installation you will not be refunded for services charged. It is up to you the customer to ensure site is ready for planting prior to team arrival. If crew has to take tree back to garden centre and return to install tree (s) on a different day, a $250 return to site fee will be charged.
- If machine access is unavailable or there is a line conflict discovered after purchase of plant material, there are no refunds. A store credit will be issued. it is important to have an idea of where your utilties are PRIOR to the purchase of trees.
- If additional soil or drainage rock is required for planting there will be a charge payable by customer. Our office must know prior to the day of your install so it can be added to your order and delivered at the same time.
- Additional services such as staking trees, watering and drip-line irrigation installation are not included in our installation rates.
- The completion of our online installation questionnaire is required prior to confirming and scheduling your installation. Please be as honest as possible to ensure a smooth installation. If you have a question about access, please send photos and arrange a site visit (fee applies) if necessary.
- Installation of all Countryside Trees & Shrubs includes one fertilizer application at the time of planting.
- Installation is a service and is not covered under warranty. Should a tree under warranty die, services will have to be paid to install warranty trees. Current installation and delivery rates will apply.
